Beyoncé spits out taste of bitter lemons

When life gives you lemons, make an album titled Lemonade - à la Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.King Bey, as the megastar is known, dropped her sixth studio album on Saturday night following the surprise release of the politically charged single and video, Formation, in February.Staunch Beyoncé fans, known as the Beyhive, got in formation for the premiere of the 34-year-old's HBO television special of the same name. The singer released visuals to all the new songs in an hour-long special on the channel.Fans did not know that minutes after the premiere the album was released on Tidal, the star's rapper husband Jay Z's music streaming service.Instead of effortlessly belted out, love-infused ballads, Knowles-Carter surprised fans with the raw and emotional account of a woman who has been wronged by her man.Most notable is Don't Hurt Yourself, featuring Jack White, which hears the normally poised singer going to the depths of her anger."Who the f*** do you think I am? You ain't married to no average b**** boy. You can watch my fat ass twist boy, as I bounce to the next d*** boy", are among the lyrics.Speculation was rife it could be about JZ's alleged infidelity, but it speaks of the experience of many women...
