Stars coach quits to fix family affairs in Italy

Giovanni Solinas quit Free State Stars in a surprise move yesterday after the two parties could not agree on the amount of time the coach would be given to sort out personal issues in his native Italy during the off season.Solinas said yesterday he needed three to four months to attend to pressing personal matters back home, but Stars were concerned that his extended absence would leave little time to prepare the club for the 2016-2017 season."It is sad for me. It was not an easy decision, but my priority right now is my family," Solinas said.He refused to elaborate, but the Italian insisted that he was leaving Ea Lla Koto with a heavy heart and hoped to return to South Africa some day.Solinas joined the club in December...
