Minister briefs Zuma on DRC flight

Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has briefed President Jacob Zuma on the circumstances surrounding her transportation of a Burundian woman to South Africa in January 2014. The minister became embroiled in controversy earlier this month after she revealed that she had flown Michelle Wege, 22, who the Sunday Times yesterday revealed was dating her late son, to South Africa from Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo on an SA Air Force jet.The Presidency yesterday said that Zuma was considering the matter and would not comment at this stage...
