Chad powers to victory

Chad le Clos once again dominated the 100m butterfly, winning in the Tokyo leg of the FINA World Cup series yesterday. Le Clos led from the start as he clocked 49.45sec to finish comfortably ahead of second-placed Takeshi Kawamoto of Japan in 49.93.Veteran Roland Schoeman, 36, got the jump on Anthony Ervin, taking bronze in the 50m freestyle in 21.42, just two-hundredths of a second ahead of the American.Russian Vladimir Morozov, the leading male performer of the World Cup series, won in 20.73 ahead of Briton Benjamin Proud in 21.25.Le Clos is second in the series rankings with one World Cup leg to go, in Hong Kong at the weekend. ..
