Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel, have flown to French Polynesia to celebrate their honeymoon.

The couple left their wedding party at the palace in Stockholm early on Sunday and boarded the private jet of a Swedish millionaire.

The jet flew the couple to Tahiti and on to one of the islands in French Polynesia where a yacht was waiting for them, the tabloids Aftonbladet and Expressen reported.

Victoria, 32, and Daniel Westling, a 36-year-old former fitness trainer and entrepreneur, were married on Saturday during a wedding attended by royals from all over the world and other dignitaries.

The newlyweds have no official engagements until August 21, when they are set to attend celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the election of French marshal Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte as heir to the Swedish throne.
