Taye Diggs starring in dark comedy

Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs, will star in "Between Us," an adaptation of an off-Broadway play.

It is described as a dark ensemble comedy exploring the bittersweet friendship between two couples who meet as old friends and discover their lives are tarnished by money, sex, success and children. Melissa George ("In Treatment") and David Harbour ("The Green Hornet") will also star.

Joe Hortua wrote the play and is co-writing the script with Slamdance Film Festival co-founder Dan Mirvish who will direct. Production is scheduled for May in Los Angeles.
