Durbanites are in for a treat at the Sunday Times and East Coast Radio Durban Day at Moses Mabhida Stadium next week.

The six-hour concert will showcase Watershed, which has been successful in Germany; hip-hop star HHP; the female duo The Arrows; singer-songwriter Farryl Purkiss; Idols winner Elvis Blue and the man who came second in the competition, Lloyd Cele, and the successful Freshlyground.

Although organisers hoped to host Afro-jazz artist Lira - as reported last week - she will unfortunately not be performing on September 11.

Gates at the People's Park will open at 11am, and those planning to attend the show must bring picnic baskets and blankets so they can enjoy the concert in comfort.
