Describe your new album I am a living Testimony.

It's inspiring and has lots of funk in it.

What inspired the album?

Life, nature, and love.

What message do you try to communicate through your music?

A lot of positivity. People listen to the music expecting nothing but positivity.

What's different about your latest album?

It has a touch of gospel and a lot of funk in it. People will enjoy it.

What challenges did you face putting this album together?

I didn't even have time for challenge. Writing songs and seeing them mature was the best part for me.

What do you most like about yourself?

Besides my music I love laughing and I only associate myself with positive people who add value to my life.

  • Sephuma is on a nationwide tour to promote 'I am Living Testimony'. Her next performance is on December 3 at the Centenary Hall in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth
