The second episode of Come Dine With Me South Africa will be screened tonight.

The local version of a British cooking reality TV show attempts to find the ultimate dinner party host. Its first episode last week saw the social networking site Twitter aflutter with joy.

Four strangers host parties for each other, and the dinner guests mark their experiences out of 10.

They scrutinise the cooking and make judgments on the entertaining skills. The contestant with the most points wins a cash prize .

Last week's cooks were body talk practitioner and holistic healer Estie Matheus, student and junior marketing consultant Kgosietsile Moalusi, aspiring actress Michelle Jordan and airline cabin attendant Sakhile Ndaba.

The show ended with Matheus and Jordan awarded an equal top score and receiving R5000 each.

Tonight's culinary hopefuls are fashionista Drisha Nair, ex-professional basketball player Nomsi Shezi, psychologist Darren Clarke and 4x4 workshop owner Rob Erikson.

Come Dine With Me South Africa is the first local production commissioned by BBC Worldwide channels for the African region. This season will feature 10 episodes.

Hilarious British actor Dave Lamb narrates the show.
