Starting on the April 7, 2013 and every second Sunday after, 94.7 Highveld Stereo and Real Concerts brings you an unplugged performances by renowned local artists at The Venue Melrose Arch.

The 947Unplugged sessions showcases the raw talent of South African artists in a rare and intimate setting, where an audience can enjoy great food and drinks while sharing moments that are not usually experienced in any other shows.

To kick off the series Jack Parow will be performing on the April 7 at the Venue Melrose Arch with Die Tuindwergies set to be the supporting act.

Thirty years ago, Zander Tyler was born in Parow, Cape Town.  Today he is better known by his stage name, Jack Parow. Releasing his debut album in May 2010, this Afrikaans rappers wild-fire success did not happen overnight. 

Parow started out rapping with crews from the Cape Flats in Cape Town and has been successfully at it for nine years.

His self-titled full length album struck gold within two weeks of its release and went platinum within a year. Parow has headlined at major festivals in South Africa; toured Europe and has played to packed out shows there.
