We take a look at the work projects the fired sixteen main actors from Generations are set to fall back on after Generations creator, Mfundi Vundla refused to take them back.

As the new Generations is being conceptualised and actors roped into to form the popular soapie's cast - the sixteen sacked actors will have to explore other ventures while embarking on their case of unfair dismissal at the CCMA.

One of the most prominent of the fired actors, Sophie Ndaba (Queen Moroka) has spent 22 years of her life on the show. Ndaba was the highest earning actor on the drama and her high profile has seen her work on numerous projects throughout the years including SABC 1's Soul City. Of late, Ndaba is the brand ambassador for Cell C, a project which will keep her in the public eye for a while to come.

Ndaba's former co-star, Winnie Ntshaba (Khetiwe Buthelezi), has become a seasoned business woman. Ntshaba is the founder of the Royalty Soapie Awards which was co-funded by the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial government at the beginning of this year.

Anga Makubalo (MJ Dlomo) and Atandwa Kani (Samora Lembede) have crafted careers for themselves outside of their roles. Makubalo is a recording artist who has collaborated with DJ Sbu while Kani is a theatre maestro with many years of experience under his belt. Thato Molamu has scored a new gig in the form of a game show on SABC 2 while Silindile Nodangala (Ruby Dikobe) has previously fronted a TV campaign for a popular food company.

Zolisa Xaluva (Jason Dlomo), Mandla Gaduka (Choppa Maithufi), Zenande Mfenyane (Noluntu Memela), Katlego Danke (Dineo Mashaba), Zikhona Sodlaka (Priska Nomvete) and Thami Mnqolo (Senzo Dlomo) have not been involved in other projects recently however Xaluva should have no trouble getting another acting role as he has acted in esteemed dramas such as Tsha Tsha. Mnqolo and Mfenyana both state on their Twitter profile that they are voice over artists. Sodlaka boasts an extensive acting CV having appeared in dramas Tsha Tsha, Montana, Rhythm City, Soul City and Intsika.

Screen veterans Seputla Sebogodi (Kenneth Mashaba), Nambitha Mpumlwana (Mawande Memela), Patrick Shai (Patrick Tlaole) and Menzi Ngubane (Sibusiso Dlomo) all have between them decades of screen time and there is little doubt that they are bound to find other outstanding roles.
