Rapper Kieran Forbes, better known as AKA scooped the most gongs, winning four awards including the Best Male artist and Video of the Year.

His closest rival was Phumakim rapper Cassper Nyovest who won three awards, including album of the year, song of the year, and best digital sales for 2014.

The theme of this years SA Hip Hop awards was 20yrs of Freedom, and the celebration of great achievements within the local hip hop scene.

The show will air on ETV, 31st December at 21h30.
