The cast of Muvhango are once again involved in a pay dispute as they have not been remunerated for January.

Actors and production staff of the popular SABC 2 drama have experienced delays with the payment of their salaries.

According to Sunday Sun, sources said the show's creator, Duma ka Ndlovu told cast they would be paid but was vague about the details.

"The problem is they were not warned that there would be delays in salary payments...Duma says they will get paid but he is not saying when," said the source. Some cast members have apparently complained of not having enough cash to come to work.

Muvhango actors apparently threatened to go on strike late last year after they were not paid. The SABC promised to bail them out at the time.
