Showdown looms between businessman Prosper Mkwaiwa's widows

At the time of his death, Prosper Mkwaiwa was still legally married to Tina Jaxa, with whom he has two children.

The couple separated after three years of marriage in 2003.

Zimbabwe born Mkwaiwa began leading life as a bachelor and was linked to a bevy of local celebrity beauties including Kelly Khumalo, who he got engaged to and later parted with over claims of his infidelity.

Mkwaiwa, a qualified engineer, became involved with Tina Dlangwana, a singer and dancer. They got married traditionally in 2010. But the pair far from experienced marital bliss.

Their four-year union was peppered with accusations of cheating and mistreatment as Dlangwana often complained that Mkwaiwa disrespected her by partying often.

The duo were also shot at by an alleged gunman in their hotel room at Morula Sun Hotel two years ago.

Now, Drum magazine reports that Jaxa and Dlangwana are apparently at loggerheads at his Mpumalanga home.

Dressed in black, Jaxa told the magazine that "I'm Prosper's legal wife and talking care of things here now." A furious Dlangawana said she would not allow Jaxa to act like a madam in the house she shared with Mkwaiwa.

"I'm the one who took care of Propser when he couldn't even bath himself. Where was she?"
