Police suspect a lover's tiff between former Skwatta Kamp rapper Flabba and his girlfriend, who has been arrested, may have resulted in the death of the musician.
According to eNCA, the award winning rapper is believed to have been involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
The woman was arrested by Alexandra police and is currently been questioned in relation to his murder. She has not been named as she is yet to appear in court.
eNCA further reports that Flabba's younger brother watched him die in the early hours of the morning. The brother told a reporter Flabba quarrelled with his girlfriend, which led to her stabbing him.
He died at 2am and his body was removed around 8 am.
Police spokesperson Lt-Col Katlego Mogale said: "At this stage we can confirm that a well known musician was allegedly stabbed to death. His girlfriend is in custody and she is expected to appear in court soon."
