Khloe Kardashian's chat show 'Kocktails with Khloe' has been commissioned for an additional 15 episodes. Kocktails with Khloe was initially commissioned for eight episodes on the FYI channel but TV bosses were so impressed with its debut, which was the highest-rated series premiere in network history, that they quickly ordered more episodes. FYI’s senior vice president of programming and development Gena McCarthy said: "Khloe and her iconic brand have struck a chord with FYI viewers, who have been extremely interactive with the show on social media. Her ability to draw upscale millennial viewers across all our platforms in record numbers is a game changer for FYI."The chat show, hosted by Kardashian, sees the reality TV star joined by celebrity guests at dinner parties where they chat, cook and play party games. And although she has had a number of her family members on the show as guests, she admitted she prefers interviewing strangers. She said: "I operate better when the guests are strangers and not a part of my family. With new people I'm not as relaxed and it's a tighter ship and I get the show going a little better."I thought it would be the other way around, and that's why I wanted my family on in the earlier episodes, while I got comfortable. I didn't have my family on in the episodes that haven't aired yet, and they're just fantastic. It's nothing against my family, I'm just so comfortable that I kind of let them do their thing and I don't really take control as much, which is so interesting to me."..
