It’s been four months since Poppy Ntshongwana hung up her mic at 5FM‚ but fans will finally be able to hear her voice again when she returns to radio on Saturday‚ as part of the 947 team. Poppy confirmed the exciting news to TMG Entertainment on Friday morning. “I’m really excited to be back on radio and to get behind the mic again‚” Poppy said.“It’s been a nice break away from radio and I’ve learnt a lot but it hasn’t been long enough for me to forget how radio works.”“Even though the system is different and the station is different‚ I think‚ like riding a bike‚ it will all come back to me. The show won’t really be much different from my shows on 5FM because at the end of the day it’s my personality that I’ll bring to the show.”The station explained to TMG Entertainment that Poppy has joined the team on a freelance basis and will fill in for any of the station’s DJs when they are unavailable‚ and are excited to have her on board. “Poppy has extensive experience on commercial radio and she has a great profile which fits well with the 947 brand‚” said 947 station manager‚ Ravi Naidoo.-TMG Entertainment..
