Veteran maskandi artist Lahlumlenze has died

It has on Tuesday morning emerged that renowned maskandi musician Sipho Nxumalo popularly known as Lahlumlenze passed away on Sunday after collapsing at his home in Vosloorus.Speaking to Daily Sun Lahlumlenze’s eldest son Mlayeleni Nxumalo confirmed the news‚ explaining that the musician had been complaining about pain in his leg for the past month. “We didn’t take it seriously. For the past few days‚ my father was doing fine. But on Sunday morning he collapsed. We tried to bring him round but he didn’t respond‚” said Mlayeleni.The musician’s fellow band members also expressed shock over his death as apart from the pain in his leg‚ he seemed to be in good health.Funeral details have not yet been confirmed.The 52-year-old’s music career got off the ground shortly after he won the Shell Road to Fame competition in 1992 and he went on to release ten albums over the years...
