Lupita Nyong'o gives us a glimpse of her new film

She spent months filming in South Africa and finally we get to see the fruits of her hard work after the actress gave us a sneak peak of her new film, Queen of Katwe.

Posting a short teaser Lupita boasted about her latest acting endeavor. “It is my absolute joy to share the very first look of my new film, The #QueenOfKatwe This movie is so close to my heart. It tells the story of Phiona Mutesi, who proves to us that daring to dream is worth it. I play her mother.”

The film was shot entirely in South Africa and Uganda with Lupita later singing our praises. While in Joburg, she also attended Trevor Noah’s comedy show and later the two posed together.
