DJ Fresh has become the latest in a long list of celebs to show love to Nasty C, with the 5FM DJ taking to social media this week to praise the 18-year-old.
Nasty C almost crashed the internet recently when he posted an Instagram video of himself dropping a couple of "really really hot" bars on what looks like an upcoming music video.
The video, which many fans seem to think is also a teaser for his upcoming album, was quickly shared on the social media site and gathered over 600 comments, most of them in praise of the rapper's talent and proclaiming the video a special moment in SA hip-hop .
And while fans were tripping over themselves to find the words to describe how amazing the rapper and his rhymes are, DJ Fresh took to his own Instagram page to repost the video with the simple approval: "Kid brings the (flames emoticon)."
It's high praise for a young rapper who has only recently burst onto the local music scene, and comes hot-on-the-heels of the news that he will soon be meeting with Jay-Z's Roc Nation to discuss a deal.
The rapper claimed in an interview last month that his upcoming album will be better than Kanye Wests. And with the hype around him at the moment, he may not be wrong.
At least he knows DJ Fresh will probably buy a copy.
