When you're a popular figure starting out on Facebook it can be hard to get your account recognised among all of the fake accounts claiming to be you. At least, that's the struggle Generations actress Thulisile Phongolo is facing.
The actress, popularly known for her role as Namhla Diale the daughter of ex-convict Lucy Diale on Generations:The Legacy, says that she has quit Facebook because there are just too many accounts pretending to be her.
"I tried to open a Facebook account but there were too many fake ones that already existed which had huge followings that it made it difficult FOR ME to grow my following and remain active without being accused of being a fake account. LOL! So I just deleted it," the star wrote on her Instagram account .
The star has warned fans not to fall for any messages they see from her on Facebook.
"Any Facebook posts or announcements you encounter from a 'Thulisile Phongolo' or 'Namhla' account IS NOT POSTED BY ME," she warned.
