Rapper Reason weighs in on AKA/ EFF twar
Rapper Reason has become the latest high-profile personality to comment on the ongoing Twitter feud between the EFF and AKA, saying that it shows the power of hip-hop artists in South Africa.
Taking to Twitter over the weekend, Reason shared his thoughts on the twar between AKA and the EFF that played out on the social media site on Friday afternoon.

Several artists have spoken out about performing for parties that they do not necessarily support, but perhaps none of them have been as vocal as rapper AKA.
The rapper, who has been in the industry for several years, wrote: "You gotta understand how powerful hip hop artists are! What happened yesterday between AKA and Julius Malema ain't like none of ya'lls silly little Twitter wars B! This is serious. A rapper spoke his mind and politicians reacted!
AKA and Julius Malema go head-to-head over EFF boycott Following comments made by EFF national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, popularly known as The People's Bae, AKA and Julius Malema have been going head-to-head in a heated debate on social media over the rapper's decision to boycott opposition party events.
The rapper went on to express his surprise at AKA's influence and applauded him for speaking his mind.

Reason's comments come after AKA took to Twitter last week to reveal that he would never again perform at an EFF political event.
