There seems to be no end in sight to the 'beef' between EFF leader Julius Malema and hip-hop star AKA.

The rapper found himself at the top of the Twitter trends list once again this past weekend, after he walked away empty handed at the SAMAs.

  • AKA launches an attack on Tweezy in a Twitter rantHip-hop producer Tweezy is the latest person to face the wrath of AKA who took aim at him over production credits and using his name in interviews.

Even though AKA took it all in his stride and congratulated other artists who walked away victorious, Twitter users grabbed the chance to poke fun at the rapper starting the hashtag #AKAwinanga.

  • 5 Things AKA 'taught' us about him and ZinhleRapper AKA went on a serious Twitter rant on Friday, airing the dirty laundry between him and his baby mama Zinhle for all the neighbours on Twitter to see. But what exactly did we learn from it all? Quite a bit actually...

Julius decided to add his two cents to the Twitter frenzy over the rapper going home with dololo (nothing).

Not one to shy away from any sort of debate AKA retweeted Julius' comments saying that he is "f**king huge."

Despite the commentary surrounding the rapper's loss at the SAMAs he took the high road saying that Emtee and the other artists did SA hip-hop proud.

The beef between AKA and Julius Malema started three weeks ago when the rapper announced that he would be boycotting opposition party events.

Julius and AKA got into a heated debate on Twitter after EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi aka The People's Bae, claimed that the rapper was neglecting fans within the EFF who buy his music.

This then led to Julius weighing in on the situation, "it's ok,enjoy your freedom. We have nothing against you just don't make the EFF ur enemy,we don't care about your affiliation," tweeted at the time.
