Pastor Penuel Mnguni aka 'snake pastor' drives over sleeping congregants

Just months after making headlines for feeding snakes to his members, pictures of Pastor Penuel Mnguni driving over people have surfaced on social media.

A lengthy post on the End Times Disciples Ministries' Facebook page describes how Penuel "commanded" two members to sleep on the floor, while a moving car drove over them.

  • 'Snake Pastor' congratulated for his 'vast' knowledge of BiblePastor Penuel Mnguni, popularly known as the “snake pastor”, was on Wednesday given a pat on the back by the Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Rights Commission for his enormous familiarity with the Bible. 

The post further stated that the controversial religious leader then instructed them to wake up while the car was on top of their bodies.

"He then asked them if they felt any pain and their response was 'we do not feel anything.' Prophet Penuel proceeded by reversing the car and again he commanded them to wake up. By amazement they stood up and began to dance and praise God together with the rest of the congregants," read the post.

The pastor came under fire earlier this year after it emerged that he had fed snakes to members of his church.

The controversial pastor was given a warning by the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities, who issued a warning to him.
