After a year of negotiations, it is reported that Tiwa Savage has finally sealed a management and publishing deal with Jay Z's label, Roc Nation.
According to Okay Africa, talks of adding the Nigerian songbird to Roc Nation began shortly after Jay Z announced that his cousin, and Roc Nation director of mobile strategies, Briant 'Bee-High' Biggs, had moved to Nigeria in search of new talent.
And a year later, it seems Tiwa - who is currently signed to Don Jazzy’s, Marvin Records - has finalised the deal with Jay's label.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday and heating up speculation, the singer wrote "Marvin X Roc Nation" alongside a photo of herself with Don Jazzy, and Jay Z.
This comes hot on the heels of Rita Ora's departure from Roc Nation after settling a lawsuit filed against them last year in which she deemed their partnership as an 'orphaned relationship.'
However, with Tiwa's reported arrival - she would become the first Nigerian female artist to be signed under Roc Nation.
