TV personality Boity Thulo has remained mum after reports claim that she is a trained sangoma.

Sunday World reports that Boity confessed that she had undergone sangoma training after the paper spotted her wearing sangoma beads while walking the red carpet at the SAMAs in Durban last week.

The paper claims that the presenter was overheard telling friends that she had undergone training to become a traditional healer.

"Yes I did go thwasa but I'm not going to practise as a sangoma. This is a very sensitive matter that I don't want to talk about in the media. It's a personal matter and way too deep to be reduced into a celebrity gossip in the newspaper. It's a secret. It's so much deeper," said the Rockville actress.

The news comes after the TV presenter was criticised for wearing a sangoma outfit while on the set of Club 808 last month.
