Could 2016 finally be the year that Skwatta Kamp rapper Slikour finally drops a few bars again?

It's been a minute since we last heard a rhyme or two from the rapper but a social media post by DJ Switch recently hinted at the prospect of a possible return.

The snap, taken during a recording session for the DJ's upcoming Now or Never Remix, shows Slikour behind a mic looking ready to bust a few flows.

Talking to TMG Entertainment on Tuesday, Slikour explained that he had simply jumped behind the mic, while waiting to do an interview at the session, and started rapping.

"It was none of this nonsense. It was just straight rapping," he said.

He revealed that even though he thinks he did well, he doesn't know whether his freestyle will be included on the track.

"It's up to Switch to decide whether he uses it or not," he said.

When TMG Entertainment contacted DJ Switch to try and twist his arm, he told us that he was still finalising the track and would announce the final line-up soon.

One person who will most likely be on the remix is Proverb. The rapper was also spotted recording lines for the remix and sent DJ Switch a message asking if Slikour would also be included "for all times sake"?

Slikour has spoken before about the possibility of a musical return, telling DJ Capital in a CliffCentral interview earlier this year that he had an album worth of material that he could drop.

"I'm always writing... I got some guys that I like what they do musically so I might just drop a four-five track EP online," he revealed.
