Well-known TV personality Felicia Mabuza-Suttle took a trip down memory lane reflecting on how wanting to follow her passion caused a rift in her marriage.

Speaking to Pearl Modiadie during an interview on Zaziwa, Felicia remembered a turbulent time in her life.

The former talk show host explained that her marriage almost crumbled over her decision to move back to SA from America in 1990 to pursue dream of inspiring others through her talk show.

  •

"The move caused a rift between me and my husband, but my husband said when he was about to give it up, what helped is his involvement in The Million Man March. Minister Louis Farrakhan had a march for over a million black men in Washington in 1995 and when my husband went there he said what he heard about supporting your woman resonated with him. That’s what saved our marriage," she said.

Despite the challenges she was facing in her marriage, Felicia knew she had to follow her dream.

“I was willing to give up anything for what I believed in. I think sometimes as women we need to do that, follow your passion no matter what."

After six months of not seeing each other Felicia's husband, Earl came to visit her and they decided to rekindle their love.

And Felicia and Earl are proof that fairy tale endings do exist!
