Cassper drops #SameChairAsKanye - receives major Twitter praise

Remember Cassper's electrifying freestyle performance on popular hip-hop radio show Sway In The Morning? Well, you'll be happy to know that he's made a single out of it, which dropped today.

Serving as a hasty u-turn from the backlash that Cassper has been receiving for the remarks that he made during his interview with Sway, the single - titled, #SameChairAsKanye - has been lauded by Twitter fans, with users commending the rapper's skills.

Subsequently, the song - which speaks about a local rapper reaching the level of his international counterparts - landed on the Twitter trends list.

This comes a few days after Cassper made a controversial remarks during his interview on Sway In The Morning. In addition to claiming that local fans call him the "Kanye West of South Africa, " South Africans were left unimpressed when he further included his confession to wanting to be American and his observation that many South Africans see America "like coming home."
