Muvhango actor Senzo Radebe recovering in hospital after freak taxi accident

Muvhango actor Senzo Radebe is recovering after being involved in a horrific pedestrian-vehicle accident two weeks ago.

According to a report on Daily Sun, the actor was walking through the rank, making way to work, when a taxi ploughed into him.

"He was hit and injured, then rushed to hospital,'' a source told the local publication, while Senzo's sister, added that "his arm was badly injured and was operated on."

In a statement to TMG Entertainment, Muvhango's publicist, Amanda Ngudle, revealed that the accident affected the show's schedule, however, reassured that there are plans in place for such cases.

"It has had an impact on the schedule of course but we always have a contingency in plan for such unfortunate circumstances," she explained.

Speaking of when he'll be returning to set, Amanda said Senzo will be given time to recover and will only start shooting when he is "fit."

"He is going to be discharged on Thursday and we will give him time to recuperate and we’ll start shooting with him as soon as he is fit to shoot."
