TV personality Sammy Sosa has responded to the Twitter storm she found herself in on Friday afternoon, saying that there are two sides to every story and she will not be sharing hers on Twitter.
Sammy found her name on the top of the Twitter trends list on Friday when a young up-and-coming musician called Inno accused her of taking R20 000 from him to feature on his track. Inno claims she then ignored his requests to get his money back.
In a series of tweets, Sammy acknowledged the outrage the claims had caused but said that she would not be drawn into a he-said-she-said argument that would only cause "drama and retweets" and not solutions.
She did defend herself from the allegations, saying she makes her living in an honest way.
"I live an honest life and would never swindle anyone of any money in my entire existence. l earn an honest living and work for everything," she said, later adding: "I will not be used as a spring board to fame without that person having done anything/nothing in life."
