The hunt is on for upcoming MCs to share a stage with Kwesta, Proverb and Nasty C

Old Mutual has launched a talent search for young and upcoming rappers, who will stand a chance to share a stage with Kwesta, Proverb and Nasty C, in addition to a cash prize and professional studio time.

Open only to university students, the competition aims to promote responsible money management habits and to also unpack what responsible investment is.

Therefore, entrants are required to upload a video of themselves rapping about "Responsible Money Management Habits" and "Responsible Investment" on Facebook or Twitter, using the hashtag #OMGWAP.

While winners at each campus of participating universities will be short listed based on the most likes and interactions on their video post, the grand winner will be selected by panel of judges selected by Old Mutual and its subsidiaries.

The winner will receive - R 10 000 cash, which will be paid to his/her tuition fees within 30 days of being announced, a chance to share a stage with hip-hop's biggest names, Kwesta, Nasty C and  Proverb, an hour of professional studio time as well as national media exposure at the main event in Johannesburg on 12 August 2016.

The competition runs from the 1st to the 9th of August 2016.
