Media moguls Tbo Touch and Gareth Cliff celebrated the official launch of their new online music channel, Touch Central on Thursday morning, which comes two months after Touch resigned from Metro FM.

Speaking to Gareth on his show Touch spoke out about his highly-publicised resignation from the public broadcaster.

Touch announced his resignation from Metro FM, after more than a decade on the station at the end of June.

Touch's resignation sparked widespread speculation that there was drama.  However, Touch has again poured cold water on the speculation.

  •

Setting the record straight, he said there is absolutely no blood between him and the SABC. "I was happy to complete a journey of a good life span and you can never discount the opportunity that the SABC afforded both Gareth and I," he said.

A few months before the radio personality officially resigned he was suspended by the station, amid rumours of a physical altercation- an allegation that Touch has previously denied.

  •

The radio jock explained for the first time in detail what led to his suspension. "I've always been the type of person who pushes boundaries. My ideas aggravated certain people. When I was asked to cut certain features, I refused. I was asked to stop certain things on air, and I refused."

Touch added that it was during his suspension that he realised, it was just time to move on.

"I got a lot of offers during my suspension and I had to remind myself that my gift got me here. So, I asked myself, 'why you still allow yourself to go through what you're going through when you're on demand,'" he said.

  •

The radio personality added that he also wasn't prepared to change who he is. "I'm not going to change who I am so I went to my friends in the SABC and said that I didn't want any bad blood. I just felt that it was time for me to go. "

Touch said that despite getting numerous job offers, he knew that he wanted to work with Gareth, which is when they got talking.

Gareth and Touch have joined forces to launch a new  entertainment company called Touch Central, which officially kicked off on Thursday.
