The thing about the internet is that everything is measured. So, Google South Africa can keep track of trends on a weekly basis.
Last week it was the entertainment world's chance to dominate the list.
First up was Emtee. After news circulated that he had died (it was a hoax) fans of the rapper rushed to the internet to see if there was any truth to the speculation. There wasn't.
Then people wanted to know how old Drake was. Considering it was the VMAs and he gave that speech to Rihanna, also confirming that the two were an item, we're guessing South Africans wanted to know more about Drizzy. (He's 29 by the way)
7de Laan also made it on to the top trending questions on Google. According to the search engine fans of the show wanted to know: 'What happened to Charmaine in 7de?'
