After death robbed him of two wives previously, legendary jazz singer Ray Phiri has reportedly found love again - and this time, with a 24-year-old woman named Rabelani Mulaudzi.
According to a Sunday World report, the two recently got married in a secret traditional wedding ceremony held in Tshisauli village in Venda.
While Ray refused to comment on his reported nuptials, Rabelani confirmed to the local publication that she recently wedded the former Stimela band member - but without divulging a lot of information.
In addition, Sunday World's sources, who are also musicians close to Ray, revealed that Ray decided to marry Rabelani after discovering that she was pregnant with his child.
"She was pregnant when they got married and they are expecting a kid," the one source said.
This is Ray's third chance at love, after death robbed him of two wives.
He was widowed for the first time in 2003 when his wife Daphne died in an accident in which he escaped with serious injuries.
In 2015, his second wife Phumzile Phiri died, after losing her battle with anaemia, a condition in which there is a deficiency of red cells or of haemoglobin in the blood.
