Speculation on the exact reason of their split has been flying high ever since it was announced yesterday that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.
The internet has reacted with a series of Jennifer Aniston memes while the other side has proclaimed the end of romance.
Meanwhile, everybody wants to know what went wrong.
"This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time," attorney Robert Offer said in a statement.
Brad has released a statement saying that he is saddened by the split.
"I am very saddened by this but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids," Pitt told People magazine. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
There has been some talk that Brad cheated on Angelina, but sources have told E!Online that nothing could be further from the truth.
They say that they had simply grown apart and that they both realised that they were going in different direction.
