Hundreds of friends, family, fans and high-profile celebrities united in filling up the arena to celebrate the fallen icon who changed the face of Kwaito music.

While most memorial services are usually filled with sombre atmosphere and heartfelt tributes, Mandoza's was unique, in that it celebrated everything he stood for.

  •

The mood was electrifying as Mandoza's hit tracks filled the air which led fans to break out in dance.

In between each speaker Mandoza's voice could be heard blaring through the speakers at the arena and fans wasted no time in burning a hole in the floor with their dance moves.

  •

Explosive performances by Mandoza's friends of the industry including Arthur Mafokate, Brickz, Brickz, Mshoza, Mapaputsi, General and Eugene had mourners in a celebratory mood.

The unconventional spurts of song and dance may have raised a few eyebrows but it was certainly fitting for a legend whose life was based on song and dance.
