Uh-oh! Alicia Keys' husband Swizz Beatz has reportedly been accused of reselling leased luxury cars.
According to a slew of reports, the music producer is being sued by a New York company, Metro-Gem Leasing and Funding Corp., for allegedly conspiring with an auto dealer to resell high-end vehicles that he had leased for himself and Alicia.
The $42 million (more than R584 million) civil racketeering lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in Brooklyn Federal Court and accuses Swizz of leasing 11 cars through his production company and middle-man Macky Dancy.
The cars in question, which included a Bentley Continental and a Ferrari F12, were reportedly loaned to Swizz by Metro-Gem, who promised to provide the cars "for use for him and his wife Alicia Keys".
The lawsuit alleges that after a Ferrari F-12 lease went into default, Swizz and Macky illegally resold the luxury car for an unknown price to a third party.
However, Female First reports that Swizz' representative has since dismissed the claims, asserting that both him and Macky were being wrongfully accused.
"[Swizz Beatz and Macky Dancy] are innocent pawns in a years-long, multi-million-dollar dispute," the rep revealed to the UK publication.
