WATCH: Don't try to dethrone someone else, says Somizi

If there's anyone who knows all about winning at life, it's Somizi.

In an attempt to motivate his fans, Somizi shared a video on Instagram about competing for other peoples' success.

Somzi's impromptu motivational talk stemmed from a session of self-reflection.

"You know I thought about this question and I thought let me share it with you. Who are you competing with? Then I asked myself, 'are you winning this competition?," Somizi said.

Somgaga added that competing with other people was definitely not the way to win this competition called life.

"The first step to losing that competition is when you start competing with someone else. When you look at someone else and say, 'I want to be the next so, and so'. It's fine to take inspiration from someone else but don't want to be someone else. Never try to dethrone someone else, you must run your own race," Somizi added.
