Urban Brew Studios has announced that ED on DStv channel 190 will come to an end at the end of the month.
The contract with the channel came to an end and will not be renewed.
ED was an educational portal launched in 2014.
In a statement released by Urban Brew, which managed and produced the channel, it was confirmed that the last day of airing will be on November 30.
"Thanks to our loyal [ED] valued viewers and advertisers for their continued support over the years. Through our content, our viewers have remained curious and been inspired," said station manager Roberto Carletti.
It is unclear how this will affect DStv prices, but any price adjustments would only take place at the end of the financial year.
