Taking to social media recently Matli had nothing but great things to say about Thato.

"Thanks for being a good friend always.You are someone I can always trust to be there when I need help," Matli wrote on Instagram.

He also recalled how Thato helped him overcome some of his 'lowest points' in life.

"Seven years ago, when I was at my lowest point you used to say: ‘don't worry com (comrade) you are talented everything is gonna workout’," he added.
