Mshoza turns to prayer as her ailing mom fights for her life

Singer Mshoza remains optimistic that her mom, who has been on life support for the past six weeks, will make a full recovery.

The singer's mom was rushed to hospital after collapsing at home in Soweto six weeks ago, where she has been on life support since.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Mshoza confirmed that her mom wasn't doing well but remained positive.

"My mom is holding up and I'm hopeful about her recovery," she said.

The songstress added that in this difficult time she had turned to prayer and is keeping her faith. "I have been praying a lot and have faith," Mshoza added.

According to reports Mshoza's mom has been put on a heart-lung machine, a respirator and is unable to breathe or speak.
