Nasty C has shrugged off claims that his Metro FM awards were "bought" in the wake of the ongoing controversy that has followed the awards ceremony.

In an interview with Zikhiphani.com, the Hell Naw hitmaker said that other people's opinions didn't bother him.

The rapper scooped four trophies including the coveted Song of The Year category, which went up against Babes Wodumo's Wololo. It was also this category that sparked the most debate among fans on social media.
