Florence Masebe reflects on losing her material possessions in a flood

Actress Florence Masebe has taken a trip down memory lane to reflect on what was lost during a flash flood last year.

While the actress and her family lost many material possession, she says it happened for a reason.

One of the items that held sentimental value was a great old piano that he daughter used to practise on.

Now months later the actress has managed to replace the piano. "It broke my heart that my daughter could not practice the piano as often as she needs to. A concert pianist without her main tool. The old piano was special and held many memories for us," she said.

Florence added that she believed the flood took their things for a reason.

"The flood waters took it along with our other material things for a reason. I don't question that. I believe in a God of multiple restorations. We have replaced the old piano with an even better piece," she added.
