I won't downplay my international ambitions, says K Naomi on joining BET A-list

Model and TV personality Keitumetse Naomi Noinyane popularly known as K Naomi has just added another feather to her cap after scoring a place on hot entertainment show BET A-list.

This comes just months after Naomi scored two other international endorsement deals, and it seems there's just no stopping Mzansi's new 'it girl'. 

BET officially announced its sizzling new team of presenters, which includes Naomi at a swanky party in Johannesburg earlier this week.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE Naomi said  that even though she knew about the gig since last year she kept it to herself because she didn't want to 'jinx' it.

"I actually knew from last year, but you know how it is, I needed to be sure and I didn't want to jinx it. But I feel it aligns perfectly with my vision to be an international brand and I am ready to take it on," she said.

The petite model who has been owning this year was chosen to be a part of Maybelline's It Girl squad campaign in April.

This after she was named as the first African female ambassador for international sports label Reebok.

"Look, I have no time to downplay my international ambitions or downsize my vision. But I think it would be sad for me to limit myself when the world is so big and waiting for me.

Naomi said that she what she had to do to achieve her goals.

"I know what I am here to do, and that is to be a great presenter. I will not just jump onto anything else before people know that I am a great presenter worthy of their attention," she said.

She said that "her hard work is finally showing" and she is glad it is on an international stage.

Naomi joins Nandi Madida, Jesse Suntele, Nomzamo Mbatha and Jessica Nkosi as BET A-List's smoking-hot team of presenters.

The show unpacks fashion, music, movies and entertainment content from around the glob and also covers some of the most sizzling red carpet events.

BET A-list airs every Thursdays on BETat 6.35pm but will have a brand new time slot from 25 May 2017 and will move to 7pm.
