Model Sarah Langa is proud of herself for having resisted the urge to go under the knife when BBL hype was at its prime.

Taking to Threads, Sarah reflected on a time in a her life when she didn't completely love her body. She recalled how easy it could have been to follow the hype and get surgery to look a certain way.

One thing I'm grateful for is the fact that I never did a BBL (Brazilian butt lift), even when I felt like I hated my body and when I felt all the pressure to get work done. I love my body right now, I love my hip dips, my proportions, my legs.

“Feeling so grateful for the body I was born with and how hard work pays off,” she wrote.

Many celebrities have shared that they've gone under the knife for one thing or the other. One of them is Boity, who recently opened up about her decision to get her boobs done.

The rapper got candid about her surgery on her timeline, revealing she underwent a mastopexy in late February as she had been experiencing lower back pains, and that having bigger breasts had also affected her outfit choices.

Boity penned a note to her doctor Bruce Lelala who had been supportive throughout her journey since she went under the knife, sharing before and after footage.

“I decided to take the plunge and do a procedure that benefited me in more ways than I thought it would. A mastopexy is a breast reduction and lift. This is a post to thank Dr Bruce not only for his incredible work but for his care and compassion throughout the healing process ... from random calls of me stressing to taking out the time to go the extra mile regardless of what I felt I needed to give me peace of mind,” she wrote.

Other celebs who've had work done on their bodies include RHOD star Jojo Robinson and Diamond and Dolls star Eva Modika.
