Gregory Scott Hale has been sentenced to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to murdering and eating parts of Lisa Marie Hyder at his home in Summitville, Tennessee.
Prosecutors said that the 37-year-old had met the mother of two at an off license and took her back to his home, only to kill her after a sexual encounter according to the UK's Mirror.
He apparently chopped off her hands, head and feet before eating parts of her body.
“I hug the people I hate so I know how big to dig the hole in my back yard,” Hale said on his Facebook page.
When he asked if he could borrow his neighbour's digger to bury a body, the neighbour phoned the cops.
The cops found Hyder's torso in Hale's house when they arrived.
According to one of his friends Hale is a self-proclaimed Satanist who was fired from his job at a slaughterhouse after his boss caught him carrying out a ritual with animal parts.
