While tweeps are still on the hype of Uncle Waffles and Ciara doing a dance challenge, Prince Kaybee has reminded some about the hate they had on the young star's team.

Taking to his Twitter timeline, he shared what appears to be a jab at the naysayers who criticised the seemingly all-male team.

This in the wake of Waffles topping the Twitter trends after her Coachella gig success.

“I remember a discourse dictum stocking up that there’s too many men managing her, the hate was appalling, beyond comprehension. What a successful career these men have curated,” Kaybee wrote.

When Waffles was still new to the scene, some tweeps were concerned about her and her career because she was “surrounded by men”.

In a series of Twitter posts, Waffles had to set the record straight.

She said people's comments about her relationship with the artists around her and her team were all out of context and twisted.

“I’d just like to say, my team is the biggest blessing in my life when it comes to my career. They go above and beyond for me, the narrative that’s being shared is disheartening. They have never made me feel uncomfortable or treated me inappropriately.”

She decided to stop handling her social media because of the backlash on her feed.

“My moment is being stripped away because now people in my life who helped me and believed in me before a lot of people are becoming affected. Even making the decision a few days ago to no longer handle my social media because I was becoming overwhelmed and hyper focusing on the hate.”
