There's a new man in town - the Celebrity Instagram Man. He is strong but sensitive, famed for his good looks but devoted to his wife and family.

He is weary of weekend tabloids reporting on his private life, but has no qualms about updating his fans on the minutiae of his life and making all too sure that we read every little message he sends to the special lady in his life.

Thus, we have the notoriously spotlight-shy Tony Kgoroge of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom posting Instagram pictures of his wife and children.

We now know that Kgoroge takes his daughter to ballet classes, that his hobbies include boxing in Norwood, that he calls his wife, Sthandiwe, his "lioness".

Despite being dogged by accusations of infidelity, DJ Black Coffee (real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo) is quick to pay tribute to his wife Mbali Mlotshwa.

The captions under his Instagram photos of her include: "thank you Lord for this Woman"; "#mostbeautifulsoul"; and "superwoman".

Springbok Francois Hougaard also dotes on his lass Chelsea le Roux, as does Proteas batsman Faf du Plessis on his new wife Imari.

Kwaito star Kabelo Mabalane has even made his wife, Gail, his Instagram profile picture.

Generations star Thami Mngqolo also regularly posts pics of his girlfriend, Jo-Anne Reyneke, and their child Lwandile.
