Metro FM host Pearl Modiadie has spilled the details about her on and off relationship to R&B crooner Donald Moatshe.

Speaking to True Love magazine, Modiadie poured her heart out about the on and off romance she has shared with Moatshe for a decade.

The two met as youngsters, while Modiadie was working as a presenter for e.tv and the little known Moatshe was in a singing group.

Although they started out as friends, the two couldn't resist each other and ended up dating but broke it off soon thereafter.

"It's always been an on and off relationship and we would sometimes start relationships with other people but always end up in each other's arms."

Modiadie says they decided to give their love another try last year.

"We started talking and decided to try for the umpteenth time. Now it's over again, and this time it's for good because when we tried the last time, we said we were going to give it our all and if it doesn't work, then that's that."

Modiadie explains their break up was not a result of infidelity or abuse but rather personal differences. The pair could not find an equal footing to take their relationship to the next level.
